I have seen 117 but I did not have my camera...a heat wave came through and I snapped this...thought it was funny...until I was in the car for a few minutes then I stopped laughing.

Well at least almost. Usually not that high. except once it was 112 reading. Usually it's like 103 ________ Wiki vaporizer (http://vaporizerwiki.com) XDEEDUBBX 08-29-2005, 11:15 PM mine was 118 in vegas.. =( Urchin 08-29-2005, 11:35 PM I saw 114 degrees in Phoenix this year, but except for a few days the summer has not been that hot. lafrad 08-30-2005, 01:23 AM I don't know about *hot*, but I think I could find a few pictures of -18 F from a trip to my old school in central wisconsin... Im sure people can dig those up.... all of a sudden, 118 doesn't sound so bad... ;-) Rhawb 08-30-2005, 01:36 AM -18 doesn't sound so bad to me. The way I see it, you can always put on more clothes to stay warm, but there's only so much clothing you can take off to cool off. :p I know -18 is nasty, but so is 112. I just definitely prefer cold weather to hot weather. KYLiquid 08-30-2005, 09:40 AM 105 is the highets here in central FL that I have seen, that was when i first got in the car, after driving for a few minutes it was down to 98. Does anyone know where the temp sensor is? Is it just one, or a few and it averages the temps. Also, how come when you switch the car into metric, the speedo and odo/trip meter flip to metric but the AMB temp stays in standard. StealthTL 08-30-2005, 10:07 AM The temp sensor is on the drivers side of the bumper, just inside the main grill, looks like the tip of a pen. Can't come close to those temps, but it does get mighty "kool" around here..... S :D BigOLundh 08-30-2005, 11:07 AM HA! That's nothing. I have my water temperature gauge temporarily tied to my intake (still looking for a good way to mount it correctly)... well anyways. You should see how hot it can get under the hood in the texas heat. Once when sitting in the drive through the guage rose close to 90 Degrees Celsius (~200 Degrees Farenheight). -HS draco067 08-31-2005, 05:14 PM 105 is the highets here in central FL that I have seen, that was when i first got in the car, after driving for a few minutes it was down to 98. Funniest, and I should have taken a pic, drove to pub for lunch, was frost on the ground, started snowing, got back in the car after lunch and the temp was reading 18C... within 2 mins it was down to zero ! |
