If you had looked at the original RX8 during the auto show year 2002/2003 (dependng on your country) you would have seen an RX-8 with matching interior.

All of the handbuilt ones were like this with the exception of silver, black, and green. The silver/black/red had black/red interiors (with the lower dash red as well). The green had a beige interior, and all other colors had two tones with black and the appropriate color (blue->blue, yellow->yellow, white->white)

I got to sit in one that was yellow w/ yellow black interior. Too bad Mazda didn't continue with thie original color matching two tone concept. Perhaps it wasn't well received. IMO, it may have drove the price up too much.

I find the yellow a bit too OTT for my taste but I quite like the blue version.

That is SICK.... (in a very good way)

Would love to change my two tone red/black to blue/black (or even green/black).

Red is hot... but blue is cooler and green is SICK!

Where and how much did it cost (or did they actually offer other color options to folks outside the US)

That is why I need to put a couple of red leather bucket seat there eventually.

What about Shinka beige interior... it look dated even before it came out on the market  :p

i have had a set of recaro A8's in my astina, they were one of the best aftermarket seat i have ever sat on..... very similar to the stock rx-8 seats (without the air bag of course)

Anything that hurts to look at Ezzy! ;)

Yeech - that gold is baaaaddddd!!!!!!! :D :D

Still reckon the blue is a standout. Don't 'spose titantium grey would look that good against the black.

As for the shinka - good luck keeping that clean! :D

Yes BRIDE seat is nice....

No I think it will be over the top for the orange colour.... an off orange colour (whatever that means) will be better.

'Bling' is like 'rice', Eric -- fancy, very fashionable and does nothing at all for function.

disagree... IMO
according to wikipedia......
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bling
The term is thought to be derived from the onomatopoeia of a visual effect used to denote light glistening off metal or jewels.

rice is any mods that has no performance/handling gain
