Guys, after about a couple of months in the market, I finally bought a winning blue 05 RX-8 GT with 10.6K miles. Paid $23,850. I hope I did not overpay. Anyway, I am having fun with the car. Redlined atleast 4 times :)

BTW, the car came with only one key and no manual. Would you guys happen to know how much an extra key and manual would cost?

Even though I did not post much, I spent a lot of time on these forums and learned a lot of the car. Thanks for all the inputs on my earlier posts!!!

congradulations!

it seems like alot of poeple have just bought winning blue's....ive seen 3 different posts in the last two days.

a key will cost you about $60 i believe, but you have to go through the dealer and have the key programed to your car. im not sure about the manule. they might just give you one.

have fun!

You should be able to get a manual from the dealer. Since you have the '05 I would assume you have the FOB. Does that cost like $150?

You can also download the manual from the owner section of the mazdausa site.

Download the manual from the www.mazda.ca site. You will need to register first.

Get the key from the dealer. They know pricing.

The dealer said that a new key is $200 or $100. I am not sure I can help you with that.

Please enjoy your car! It's totally gorgeous and fun!

Congrats on the ride. Enjoy it.

The car only came with one key? Is it only suppose to come with one key?

If not I hope the dealer reset the code.

Proud new owner (3 weeks) of a Whitewater Pearl 2005 Grand Touring!!!! It took me a year to convince my wife to buy it. She caved in when her (gasp) Hyundai, up and died! (Yeah for me).

You can get a key from Mazda and I've seen keyfobs on ebay. As for the manual, you can get the PDF from a couple of places on the net I think. If you ask your Mazda Dealer, they may give you a manual for free.

Thanks for all the inputs. I am going to take the car to the dealer tomorrow to get a few things checked. Not sure if all the recalls are done. There are no labels whatsoever under the hood. I did download the manual from the mazda website.

Loving the car so far. The ride quality is amazing and the cornering is fantastic!!!
