I also belong to another forum where they are about to get their vin numbers (for a different car (Audi TT 3.2), how long was the time for you guys from when you got your vin numbers and to when you guys got your cars? Was it like 30-45 days?

Also for owners, how do you like your cars - better than expected? Comfort and ride (height isn't an issue for me as is some -> I'm only 5'5")? The Bose unit - good and thumping?
Curious about input from automatic owners as well.

I am still trying to decide - cross shopping a Audi TT (coupe hopefully 3.2) and the RX-8.

You must not read too much... most of us got our VINs months ago... only a few of us have gotten our cars. I count less than 25 in the Dealership/Delivery section.

If you are considering the Audi TT, you should read the Car and Driver magazing this month. It may help you decide.

The one in Car and Driver this month is the 225 hp Convertible, which is a full half second slower than the 225 hp coupe, also they did an article back a few months ago titled "Hot Tin Roofs" which they used a 180 hp coupe, I am looking at the V6 3.2 TT with the 250 hp engine - yeah I'll sacrifice some preformance over the RX-8 if I go for it, but it'll make up with the AWD, the lux features, and also the DSG 6 speed manual with auto mode. But I am still keeping the RX-8 on my list - can't make a valid decision without a test drive. But for what I am looking for I feel the TT fits my needs better. Still like the RX-8 though, but for those NE winters and winter Pocono trips, not exactly sold on the rwd. My rule is Looks and Needs before pure speed. Plus either way the RX-8 or the AWD TT, both gotta be fun on those mountain backroads.

If that is the case, they gave Audi a bad rap if you ask me.
