Hey guys got a question for you. I've had my 8 a couple of months now and just started having a prblem when shifting from 2-3. It only does it when the car is hot( air temp and hour or so driving), and shifting at or over 6k, but when I shift the engin seems to rev on up a little the it shifts.Anybody got any ideas?

 

Yeah, I get it myself every now and then, at just about any RPM over 2000. It's where it flares up about 500 RPMs right when you shift? It's something with the transmission, Proteges supposedly had the same problem and it was related to the specific transmission used in them.

I kind of wonder though if this isn't just yet another problem lying in wait for AT RX-8s?

 

Thanks for the reply vertigo-1. Have you ever taken yours to the dealer over this? I've already called mine and they are going to look at it this friday.
