saw aalot of RX-8 ( 2 titanium grey, a red and a blue )
so anyway, i was talking to the salesman about the car..
some part of our conversation
me: "So how much is the car"
him: "i think its 36000, let me check.. oh its 39000"
me: "so what options are available?"
him: "there are no options! everything is standard.. a/c, boss stereo .. *etc* "
me: " so what about those leather seat i see"
him: "oh yes those are extra"
me : " so leather is an option"
him : "yes"

me: "how much is that option?"
him :" 2000"
me : "2000 for leather? what else?"
him: "thats it"
me: " heated seats?"
him: "oh yes heated leather seats"
me: "so $2000 for heated leather ONLY"
him: " yes...let me double check.. oh its $3000"
me: " so its $3000 for only leather??"
him" yes"
me: " thats pretty expensive for leather only"
him: "yeh thats the way it works"

him: "this car is VERY fast, 0-100k in 5.5 secs!"
me: " really..."
him: " yeh, all its competitor are all over 60,000!"
me: " oh yeh? so what car is this car being compared to?"
him: " ohh .. BMW.. Porsche"
me: "this is being compare to a Porsche??"
him: " yeh"

me: "so how much deposite do i need to put down if i want to put myself on the list"
him: " a few grand"
me:" so thats like.. what.. 2grands? 9 grands?"
him: " uhh yeh 2grand"
( i asked some other guy in the same dealer yesterday, he said only $1000 )
me: " is it refundable?"
him: "umm.... well.... yeh.. i guess, but you have to test drive it and only with good reasons"

Not only does he not know his PK (product knowledge) but he is lying about prices and such.

Better yet, i've had a stupid "16" year old boy sales guy tryin to sell me an acura at North Hill acura and all he could do is repeat his stupid ass AND try and sell me on a POS sound system. WTF kind of a salesman tries and sell u a on sound system???? MORONS AND MORE MORONS NOWADAYS. Be very carefull, deal with someone NICE, Knowledgable, and make sure the fucker doesn't push u around. NEVER, remember he will try to gain "control" of the sale, BUT YOU are the one BUYING, so he HAS to be your Bitch. just keep that in mind people.

This guy sounds like a complete idiot!
When I dropped by on the 18th to see the 3 in the showroom, I was talking to an older gentleman and he seemed to know the car very well.

I guess not all salesman are enthusiats (but they should be :D )

didn't mean to flame too harshly. but i do believe in professionalism in that kind of bussiness. if you don't know your product, don't sell. period.
