transmission dampner

can someone point me to the TSB that talks about replacing or changing the transmission dampner (bracket?)

I think your talking about one of the early recalls on 6-speed 2004's, not a TSB. If your 8 was built AFTER 8/2003 it does not apply to you. For more info go to

thanks alot - im looking to buy a lightening yellow 2004 with an 8/03 build date. Its still in the dealers lot so im wondering whether it was fixed

It is known as MAZDA RECALL NO. 1704B. If the reacall was done the dealer should have placed a sticker under the front of the hood like the one on the left.
