vinix...i live up near baltimore. i guess the only place to meet up is FedEX field. btw...do you know how to get to Malibu Grill? i think it's in arlington, va. anyways, i'm tryin' to go there after the drift show for dinner. yumyum!!!!!

the closest malibu grill near arlington is at Bailey's Crossroad off Leesburg Pike and Columbia Pike, I go there for lunch often :D

well according to google maps, if you cut through DC instead of going around Beltway, it's about 20 miles away, and about a 30 minute drive :p

i'm going, but due to the number of folks i'll be hauling, my Navigator will be making the trek vice my 8. however, it will give me the opportunity to check with folks from around the area for good (and even legal) drift spots. wish some of the local 1/4 mile tracks offered drift days...

So when you say 20 bucks, is that to enter and drive your car, or just sit and watch?

not sure, the ad says 20 for admission, but doesn't say anything about driving.

that just means $20 to enter as spectator.

just came back. couple of decent local drifters out there. did anyone see an 8 in the car show? i didn't. a pure stock car could've won the best mazda category - cuz it would've been the only mazda in the show! did see some nice FD's in the lot tho. the only 8's i saw were two greens, also in the lot. i was looking for i m danomite's blue, but didn't see it. i had the 04 silver navigator on 24's and was the gimp hobblin' around the scene (not a drifting related incident this time!)

there were two FC's drifting and both appeared to be piloted by inexperienced drivers running basically stock cars, with no apparent suspension mods.

the t&a scene was minimal, with a couple of babes there. ok tho, as the event was centered more on cars and i had my ol' lady anyway.
