Hey guys and girls I have a question for you, I have read all the posts regarding this question but I really need someone who actually did the install. I have the standard rear spoiler on now and am in the process of installing the mazdaspeed body kit (the dealership is doing the install btw) and they called me to say they have a problem with the rear spoiler saying the MS spoiler doesnt cover up the holes from the stock spoiler. But i've read before that it uses the same holes, but some say it doesnt does anyone know which one is true? Otherwise I'm gonna have to buy a whole new trunk :( Please I need your help!

It should line up with the stock wing holes... if not, they are only slightly off, but the base part of the MS will cover that up. Just remember to fill in the gap when you redrill.

Thanks for the reply but I'm not doing the install the dealership is, and they told me they are gonna try to align it so it covers the holes but what about water getting through?

It shouldnt get through if they fill the gaps.
Keep your receipt.

Sorry if this is an ignorant question but what would they fill the holes with? Because that wasn't an option they gave me.

you could see if they will weld the holes closed, or seal them with slicone.
the MS wing covers the same area that the OEM wing covers, so you shouldnt see any holes, even if they ahve to drill new holes.
why did you decied to have the dealer install them? I would think a body shop would have better prices/experience installing body kits.
