Once again an excellent job by the #70 team to drive to the front and overcome last weekend's big crash at the Glen and a poor starting spot at Mosport. To lead after 2 1/4 hours of racing is a testament to teamwork and great driving. Only the supercharged horsepower of that extra light GM car was able to prevail due to the uphill straight. There is no way it can handle or brake with the RX-8, so now that the horsepower tracks are behind them watch the 8s move forward.
