Since the STi and EVO are faster cars, i would say the cavalier.

I certainly have.

I see more riced out Cavaliers, Mustangs, Civics, and GTIs in my area than I do asian cars. Avengers, Strati, and Grand Ams seem to be popular as well.

i have a 98 cavalier as my beater car and when im in my 8 not too many people try to race me but when im in my cavalier every cavalier and mustang want to race me for some reason

The Evo seemed like it was checking out whether I wanted to come out an play. But when he saw I wasn't interested, he went on his merry way.

The Cavalier did the gen-u-ine ricer flyby, though.

Addendum to the story:
I was at a red light with a big-ass older Lincoln on my left. After the light turned green and I had driven a bit, I heard loud pipes from the car behind me (the Cavalier). I did not change my speed. Then the Cavalier cut right in front of the Lincoln -- which proceeded to floor it and ride his ass for the next three blocks. The kid got a race he didn't want.

Most if not all Evo and STi owners know what an RX8 can do, so I can't see one trying to race an RX8 unless he just wanted to taunt you, or if you make the move. The RX8 tends to attract ricers in my experience. Also the age demographic will always swing it this way as well.
