The RX 2 was a sleeper. I realy surprised some Triumphs with it. :D

Soo much for that prediction :D

I love old brochures and ads though.

I learned to drive a stick in my dad's RX-2, which he'd bought new. (Hey, that ryhmes.) That thing would backfire like a bastard, but I loved it. Bright orange. I've had a soft spot for orange cars ever since.

Cool ad. Too bad the prediction didn't come true. I'm still hoping that someday when I make my luxury sport sedan purchase that it might be able to have a rotary engine.

Then came the oil crunch, and a bunch of other unpleasentness.. :(

But that has got to be one of the coolest pix of a wankel engine I've seen. :)

In my world (ie my garage) .. 100% are rotary powered. Great find Morgan.

it'd be neat, but expensive to have made i'd think. Never the less though-pretty kick ass. :D

It stinks...if it wasn't for the oil crisis there would be a million rotaries around, but then again if it wasn't for the oil crisis, companies like Toyota and Honda wouldn't have been so succesful.
