Thats what we all SHOULD be dynoing at, if we actually had the advertised hp.

Get the shinka 6sp instead of red when you trade yours in Sillygrl.

We had a sunlight silver dyno at 206whp :)

I would like to know the details myself. shinka213 is the only shinka I know of in my area.

I drove a new Shinka and it was a dog compared to mine.

So Shinka doesn't have more power. Each car is different.

Right - it's entirely possible that this car is making the HP it's 'supposed' to, or 'promised to' make; This car and the Silver which dyno'd with us.

the OTHER 98% of us should be beating down Mazda's door for answers.

Damn. 205whp. I know my car does not have anywhere near that. Mine feels about the average 180whp range. I can't believe the discrepency between RX8s. We've also seen ones dyno'ing at only 170whp.

Could it be possible that the discrepancy is due to one simple equipment in our cars such as MAF sensor or 02 sensor? I wish someone would do careful comparison between stock cars' parts: one with 180HP and the other 205HP.

I'm hoping to do some experiments at the next dyno day - but was thinking it'd be an ecu-swap. Frankly, the maf swap would be easy too... :)
