Last week Tanabe was looking for a stock RX-8 to test fit their new exhaust and I was lucky to have the chance to be selected. Anyways, their new exhaust is called 'Touring Medallion' and gives about +6HP increase. At low rpms, the exhaust sounds very close to stock, but when you hit the high rpms, its sounds really sweet. I'll try to get some sounds clips when I get the chance, but here are some pics of my car with it.

The 18' rims are ADR Fuel which I got at wheeldiscount.com. I actually live in Irvine that closer to Tustin Market place, but haven't had the chance to go to the meets. I will try though!!! I promise hehe....

What is the different intent between this "Touring" and their "Hyper" one? And do you know if the sound is different between the two?

I got selected when one of the guys from tanabe was searching our site for a stock RX8. Lucky for me, I was browsing the site when he posted. So I e-mailed him back and then he called me to ask if I can bring in the car that day. So I did and wahla, free exhaust!

What the guy from tanabe told me is that the Touring is a performance exhaust but close to stock in terms of sound. I think the Hyper one is much more loud and noticable.

Short and cheap, its okay...it was free and I love the sound! Thanks for the comments guys.
