Just wondering when people in the metro Boston area are expecting their orders. I just called Wellesley Mazda on Route 9, and they said middle of August. That seems extremely late because it sounds like that shipments are on their way any day now.

My dealer ( Ira Mazda Danvers ) just e-mailed me yesterday and said my car will be in port in two weeks.

When ibfubar2000 looked up my VIN it is in port ( as of July 2 ).

I will trust ibfubar over my dealer with this info.

Try Quirk Mazda in Quincy. I preordered in january and they have been attentive since. Recently, they reported they would have a couple demos at least this week or next. I know they have 21 rx-8's on order.
