Just topped up my 8 with oil and managed to miss the funnel :mad:

A bit has ran down into the engine. I've managed to clean off what i can get to/see. There wasnt enough of it to drip through onto the ground below

Will this cause a problem or will it just this burn off the next time I use the car?

No harm done... it will just burn off... some stink and maybe a little smoke for a day or two. Since it was fresh, clean oil it won't be that bad.

I've done the same thing myself, before I realized that a funnel is mandatory with a thin oil like 5W-20. Should be no harm done.

It's a rotary - It likes an oil bath every now and then... :)
