I just heard the Racing Beat in person & it's sounds pretty good. It sounded louder than I expectd since everyone said that it wasn't that loud. I would choose the HKS or Racing Beat.

What aftermarket exhaust you use? Racing Beat

Why? Because after researching, it seemed to fit me needs the best. Not overly loud, great quality, etc.

How much? Well, I use it daily since it is on my car :D Seriously though, I bought from RX8 Store, they have the best price.

I recently purchased Racing Beat after about a month of intense research. After about a week of driving, I barely notice the exhaust anymore. For me this is a good thing.
For some, it would be almost stock, but that is the beauty of it.
Speaking of beauty, when I got the exhaust, the quality is VERY impressive...

Rx8store's, because it sounds the best, it's lighter than stock, and it is high quality.

Racing Beat-because it's loud when it's supposed to be loud and quiet when it's supposed to be quiet.

here's a catback straightpipe setup just slapped together on short notice (less than a week to prepare), ultimately will use a Burns Stainless muffler (http://www.burnsstainless.com/UltraliteMuffler/ultralitemuffler.html) with light gauge stainless tube in there soon to get the noise a bit more reasonable, since there is little/no HP advantage to changing the muffler your only choice for maximum performance is to go for minimum weight, don't waste your breath commenting about the empty openings looking dumb or whatever, this is not for poseurs :rolleyes:

RX8Store's = Magnaflow
Loved the looks of the tips, and besides that, the sound is awesome - somewhere between RB and GReddy.
Price = take at look at the website!

I went with the Racing Beat because of their quality and the sound. $615 to my door and me and my 10 year old installed it on a Saturday morning. So far I've been very happy with all of the Racing Beat products I've purchased. I guess sway bars are next

Me and my 10 year old did it on a Saturday morning. The hardest part was getting the rubber hangers off the old exhaust but after that it was all BUTTER. Trick is lots of WD 40
