Quick question for those that have installed any cat-back systems on their own. Do you think I can get away backing the car up onto two ramps in order to get underneath? How far under the car do I need to be?

Yes, ramps work. If memory serves correctly, the flange is located in front of the rear differential, on the passenger side.

Helps a bunch if you have a creeper to work on.

Yes, I did mine on two ramps in the rear, BUT it is a very tight fit working around the cat area. But it can be done, and I did it alone too, had to bench press it into place.

Thank you both for your input, I haven't gotten around to actually putting the car up on the ramps yet to check but it's nice to know that it can be done.

Careful when backing your rear wheel drive onto ramps, those ramps can fly pretty quickly if you give a little too much gas, make sure they are very stable before starting the climb.

Also if you remove your exhaust shrouds, be very gentle, the little plastic tabs can break easily, at least a few of mine did.

Thanks for the tips, appreciate it.
