Kind of funny how some of them consider switching to a live rear axle a "butchering" of one of the "best handling sports cars in the world" when one of the best handling sports cars in the world, the Corvette (and maybe the Viper? not sure on that one...) uses a live rear axle setup. Next generation may be IRS, though... Rumors are still floating around about that one.

Corvettes have used IRS since the early days. I think it was introduced with the `63 Vette.

You're not sure about the Viper? But you ARE sure that the Corvette uses a live rear axle? Did your mother have any children that lived?

Sorry, I dunno wtf I was thinking. The F-bodies have a solid rear axle, not the Corvette... oops.
