I pulled this gallery from the rx7club.com forum. Be warned, the pictures are large and take some time to load.

Isn't the Art Acadamy in San Francisco where Tom Matano, the guy that helped style the Miata, now works?

I clocked the car in Powell Street, just up from Union Square. The driver was having a coffee in the cafe across from the car. That was 06/22/03 while I was on holiday. Lovely city, enjoyed myself.

At first it seemed that this could be Tom Matano's car. But, then I remembered that Tom's favorite color is blue.

Any self respecting Miata fanatic would know this bit of trivia.

:p

Maybe the car is on loan to him, to use in his automotive design lectures! Or car magazine writer brought it by to get impressions from him. Speculation speculation speculation...
