i already posted this in another section but didnt' get any responses.
so how about we piggy-back the rear speed sensors tot he front ones? that way, the car will think it's moving.
sound ok or did i bump my head?

I believe thats what canzoomer use to do and worked a little better

Someone purposed this same idea along time ago, I believe, but I may be wrong, that we decided that the ECU knew which signals came from the front and which can from the rear, ie. the front and the rear have two different signals. I am pretty sure that is what was said, but I may be wrong.

I thought canzoomer was just disconnecting the rear sensors when he dynod. The only thing I have been able to figure out is that you got about 30 seconds once the wheels start spinning before the ecu throws you to crap map. I would appreciate any input as well.
Thanks,

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a command that could be sent to the ECU to allow dyno'ing. Its probably part of the WDS interface into the ECU (maybe?).

ZIP tie the rear abs sensors (disconnect them first then zip tie them to the cable so it doesnt hit something while you are dynoing)... you still don't have much time, but the crap map doesnt seem to come on as quickly. Woohoo!

You're going about this all wrong by trying to trick the car. If you want a better plot, you should be trying to trick the dyno. Like, by say, putting a different car on there.

BUMP.
If I was to put it on a dyno, anything i need to do?
Perhaps swtich DSC off completely?
Thats it? DynoDude does the rest?

I thought canzoomer concluded a while ago that pushing and holding the DSC completely removed power from the wheel sensors, and so there was no way those sensors could detect the wheels were moving. So there was no need to remove them.

That's what we did, and it worked. It;s the pickup off the coils that is difficult.

It can't completely remove poer because the speedo takes the average of all four wheels' speed to display a speed.
