OK... I tried a search on this, and I'm certain I've seen something on it... somewhere. The only problem is, I can't find it. I had an oil change done, (by the dealership), and when I got home, I parked the car like always, pressed the "lock" button, the turn signals flashed, but almost immediately, the panic alarm started going off. I don't have the shock sensor installed. I was able to stop the alarm from going off by pressing the panic button. Thinking I did something stupid, (like pressing the panic button), I unlocked the car, opened both the driver and passenger doors, closed them, and made certain I was only pressing just the "lock" button. Same thing. Alarm going off, cleared by panic button. I "tested" this again earlier today, after letting it sit for almost 2 days, and without starting it, I went through all the same steps, unlock (using fob), open doors, close, lock using fob, and again, the alarm goes off.
Any ideas? And if any of the mods happen to know if this was posted before, can you please merge?
