I had to use up the $500 cash back from Mazda because of the mess up claiming the wrong horse power output. Here are some pics. RX8-CARL 04-07-2005, 09:12 PM Yes mud flaps, had to wait for them to be painted(6 days) but 4 days later arrived England. bmcc49er 04-07-2005, 09:19 PM I would like those but they are overpriced and I heard they suck to put on. Opinions? RX8-CARL 04-07-2005, 09:31 PM Exhast finishers or mud flaps? I don't have the finishers but the flap took about a hour to fit, and I changed the strakes at the same time. I think the finisher need some of the plastic removing to fit but I might be wrong. expo1 04-07-2005, 09:39 PM I would like those but they are overpriced and I heard they suck to put on. Opinions? Overpriced: YES Hard to install: NO. So long as you DO NOT follow Mazda's instructions. Hardest part is removing the trim without breaking any plastic tabs. http://www.mazdatrix.com/faqrx8/exhfinish.htm RX8-CARL 04-07-2005, 09:45 PM Mud flap instructions where in Japanese, Just followed the pic's and use some of the DIY tips off here. bmcc49er 04-07-2005, 11:47 PM Sorry, not the mud flaps. Put them on already in the rear but did have a problem with the nut coming out of two of the bolts. Impossible to get back in. I was talking the finishers. truemagellen 04-08-2005, 04:08 AM Exhaust finishers are a real waist of money...it is a small sheet of metal that you can barely see and only at an angle...forget it, save your money for something better...I'm so glad I didn't buy these (almost did  ) success07 04-08-2005, 11:23 AM Exhaust finishers are a real waist of money...it is a small sheet of metal that you can barely see and only at an angle...forget it, save your money for something better...I'm so glad I didn't buy these (almost did  ) I second that. I bought them and wish I hadn't. Could have spent the money more wisely. DreRX8 04-08-2005, 11:49 AM I like the way they look--but they are too much damn money. That's why I'm not getting them until I am through with everything else on my short list of things to do. |
