Ya, I did mine last September. I came from a car that had 15" wheels with higher profile tires. With these 18" wheels they seem to stick out farther than on my old car and there isn't that extra bit of tire to save you from doing dum things.

 

Maybe 245's or 255's would balloon out enough to protect my wheels?
Probably would screw up my cornering with tire sidewall roll....

I've done it before but never in the 8. I park as far away from the curb as possible without sticking out in traffic. I'm paranoid. Thank God there are no curbs in my neighborhood or at work...I don't think I could handle that stress everyday
