View Full Version : front end suggestions-ideas
canaryrx8 03-28-2005, 10:33 AM well since this happened to me Friday, i may be able to get a new front end (possible more) for my car, assuming I get to keep it.

are there any front bumpers that look decent without the rest of the kit? So far from searching I've found the Racing Beat might work, possibly the Auto-exe, maybe even the Mazdaspeed. Maybe somebody can photoshop something, or just give opinions if anything else. Thanks.
zoom44 03-28-2005, 10:41 AM get the Racing Beat !!
canaryrx8 03-28-2005, 11:20 AM I really like the look of the Racing Beat, just not sure how it would go with the rest stock, guess I could always get the rest later if nothing else :)
Rynrx8 08-08-2009, 07:39 PM I was thinking about the same thing, because my front bumper is broken in half lol. I don't know if I should just get the kit or go just for the bumper. I have mixed emotions about the mazdaspeed front because it looks to hang so much lower than the rest of the body.
Rynrx8 08-08-2009, 07:41 PM The problem with getting it at seperate times is shipping. Keep that in mind.
Rotr8 08-08-2009, 09:00 PM Actually the Mazdaspeed and AutoExe arent any lower than the appearance package, its just designed differently to llok that way,,,
I have the SE-03c AutoExe,,, Its like a refreshed and updated MS,,,
Ill post pics but tkae into consideration that I modified to look different, the normal SE-03c donest have as big of a front grill...

Fitment is exactly like OE these pics were the initial fitment, I took it off this past week to install new headlights and the fitment is now even better...
Holding off on sideskirts till I fab up some hangers for them,,,
kersh4w 08-08-2009, 11:45 PM hey man, nice. that looks really good. first time i've seen the pics of it installed and painted. awesome.
Rotr8 08-09-2009, 12:09 AM WTF??? Kersh returns,,,,
chickenwafer 08-09-2009, 12:17 AM Holy thread bump!
And Greg, I think the MS bumper is lower than the factory bumper with appearance package. I know my nose scrapes more with the MS bumper now than it did with the OEM bumper + lip. It's not that much lower but I think it is.
It's most obvious if you see someone with MS side skirts and just the factory bumper with the appearance package lip- they aren't even. But with the MS front they even right up.
What is that AutoEXE bumper made of?
Ross_Dawg 08-09-2009, 01:32 AM ^youre right. IIRC, the MS is around 1 inch lower than the AP
