Berny and I noted a bunch of weights on the rims of the RX-8s. And according to that RX8 CD if you replace the stock wheels than it will set off the tire warning alarm. And there is plenty of room between the calipers and the rim. ---jps Edge 06-21-2003, 11:44 AM nice thought if the pressure monitoring was done by a device on the rim, but my understanding from other threads was that it's based on the ABS sensors checking for differing speeds between the wheels. must be another reason for that much weight, like it's just a big 18" wheel and it's getting balanced at the ~14" point.
