What color did you order? I hope not titanium. Since we will be the "first on th block" with our 8's, I was hoping for a little exclusivity for a few months. I'm right next door in Monterey Park (Montebello used to part of Monterey Park). I can't belive you don't have your VIN. My car has been built and is on the second boat already.

Maybe I'll take you for a drive. Sorry, I can't let you drive. A friend of mine test drove my CRXsi right into a curb when the car was only 2 weeks old. Total damage: $8,500. I'll never let that happen again. AND I lost the friend. He could never face me again.

Puppy1,
Sorry to disapoint you but I did order titanium, red/black, I can tell you have good taste. But don't worry you will be blowing by me on the streets because mine is an Auto! So don't worry about me asking you to drive but I would sure love to sit in that passenger seat! I grew up in Monterey Park! My parents still live there. Right behind Macy Int. We will have to get together! I am kind of pissed at my dealer I am sure you will have your car way before me!!!

I don't belong to the Fast and the Furious crew either. I haven't had a ticket in the last 12 years. I got stick because I like feeling more connected to the car. My current ride is auto, but all my priors were stick. I got the 8 more for how it handles, than how fast it can go.

My interior is Chapparel, so atleast it will be easy enough to tell us apart.

My parents live in Alhambra. After my recent divorce, I felt a need to be back closer to home as they are now in thier 70's.

Mazda email says I should have my car first week of July. My Santa Monica dealer has no new info as of today. June 6th the dealer phoned me that my car was on the boat. I'm getting Nordic Green with everything but NAV.

I'm currently arranging sale of my Miata so I hope delivery comes through next week.

LOL!

Why you ask if I was a democrat? The orange curtain??? What are you talking about? No, I am not a democrat but I don't like george bush either. I am 19, live alone, and make good money... why should a 19 year old be in politics... LOL democrat.

I live in the area of chino hills, diamond bar, and city of industries so I don't know any tustin/spectrum/block. Tribal Azn you got it backwards... its knotts that has tons of gang related activity, I just went to MM "due to buy one get one free ticket "coke" " and security was quite tight.

About the meeting how about IN & OUT.

lol i think he asked if u were a democrat because mostly everyone in OC is republican

nah bro they both got gang activity. knotts is kinda mainly for kids tho so the gang activity is lower. there was a incident awhile back where knotts had a "nickel day", where it only costs 5 cents to get in. a shit load of gangstas showed up and i think plp got shot and/or stabbed. and they had to shut that bitch down

anyways, the in-n-out at the market place? yea thats a good place, its right by the ikea parking lot.

That's where I was leading 2 "the nickel day." I was laughing when I saw it on the news. All them cholos were scattered everywhere...

Nickle Day was on Cinco de Mayo a few years back. Wasn't Rick Dees-KIIS FM co-cponsering the event? GOD that man is anoying.

Yes Moogle, the further south in OC, the more conservative republican it gets, and the more expensive it gets. In Coto you had to BE republican, just to look for a home.

Tustin Market Place sounds good. Are we going to pick a day?

Tustin market place is 5 minutes away from me and RX8 Master, so that works. But Rowland Heights is my hometown, so that would work for me too. Which In and Out did you want to meet at? My only worry with In and Out is the parking situation. Tustin Market place has more than ample parking and there's a great spot near the Tustin Marketplace In and Out that we can all meet.

yes the ikea parking lot is great. its only like 2 mins away from me.

so in-n-out at the market place it is? should we start a new thread? we also need to pick a date, and we have to make sure this is the first AMERICAN rx8 meet!!!!!! preferablly before july 6th

Tribal: You were concerned before that you knew nothing about your car, now it sounds like you are sure you are taking delivery in a few days. Has our "favorite dealer" been keeping you informed?

My dealer here in Alhambra wanted $2k over MSRP, so you can bet I won't go there for service either. I think I'll take a trip down to Ceritos for my service.
