There's a thread on this already;

Where did you get the figure of 3000? We had heard that it was only the first 1000 that got the day and general consensus was that it would be with your own car although this has not been confirmed 100%.

I was under the impression (probably misguided) that the Pro-Drive event is only for pre-orders.

Free Prodrive Performance Driving Tuition for all Mazda RX-8 customers
(27/5/2003, London)
This summer will see the launch of one of the most exciting cars to go on sale in the UK, the Mazda RX-8, and with only 3,000 available with a price tag starting at just £20,000 they are unlikely to remain in showrooms for long.
^ Direct from mazda's website. 3000 RX-8's, and a prodrive for all by the way it reads.
So no one got any date or facts on the grapevine cant wait gagging to get round the test track...

No ones got any dates or facts on when we get the cars never mind the track day :(
i dont think we would use our own as the cars need running in a little id assume, and i dont think we'd be to keen to thrash our own as much as a demo car.
Ah Rob but race tracks need to pre booked for big events so some one might have an idea of a date. Or even the location.
