Hi '8ers

I thought it'd be a good idea to begin to put all the Ausrtalian-specific things together under one banner.

This site (http://www.vic.system77.com.au/rx8) contains very little at the moment except the accessories list and pricing.

If you want, we can can use this as a basis for putting together a really useful book of ideas, contacts, links, downloads etc.

Bandwidth is only ADSL so it's not going to stand up to too much punishment.

Let me know if you reckon this is a good idea or if you have some things that you'd like to add... eg/ photos etc.

It is already an ace site.
If you want someone to design it, I may be able to help

visit my site www.step-hen.com and see what you think.

Cool guys...

Send me through your Pics and I'll put them up.

Let's keep video's off site otherwise the staff will strangle me for hogging bandwidth. However, if you have a link to a video that will do nicely :)

How about a "bio's" page... ie/ if you've got a story about how you came to chose the RX-8. We can add driving impressions as we go, as well as a guestbook - or whatever.

Takahashi, cool site.... Any additional design would be good. At the moment it's just been created using a frontpage theme, didn't wnt to spend too long on it, as not sure if it would be useful.

Thanks. I would love to contribute - just using your categories. Give me about couple to weeks as I am training on my bike and working night shifts. Also, I have to work on my wedding site.

A Bio page is an excellent idea. It is making more like a club thing. If we can centralised the email either through the forum or a email group like Yahoo! groups.

BTW, What accessories would you get? I will definitely get the fuel cap, MP3 player and the side step plates.

I'm going for looks....

front air dam lip
front rotor symbol
rear under body deflector
rear spoiler

probably
mp3

maybe
mud flaps (f+r)
side skirts

I don't think I'll get the sill plates... they're only aluminium (soft) and i think the paint would stand up better to damage than the aluminimum. But i could be wrong.

I can't believe that we're not getting mp3 standard...!!! what a crock! And to pay over 500 for the privelige is *stooopid*..

Well. I am going to get the MP3. People, unlike the techno guys like us, prefer the 6 stack CD. The Mazda promo group prob also very slow.

I am going to get some of it from the dealer as freebie. I am going for Bridgestone S01, Floor mats and maybe the sill plates.

I am not going for the skirts and spoiler as I will get for the Mazdaspeed kit. Hehe :p

I am dealing with a female. So I think my charm will help. It will be a major victory if I con them a fuel cap or a side sill plate... MP3?

The only option that I am getting is mats and illuminated gearknobs. I am thinking about the door sills though. But I don't want to spend so much accessories, because I am thinking of keeping this car only for 2-3 years. Just hope that the RX7 will be available in Australia by then.:D
