Has anyone that has been to MotorDriveLive or MotorExpo managed to measure the ground clearance?

My concern is that I leave in a rural area and a few of my friends live off the beaten track, I don't want to snag the front of the car on their unmade drives etc. So if anyone has an idea what the actual clearance is then I would be most appreciative.

Although I have a feeling I will be parking at the bottom of their drives and walking quite a lot......

Motorexpo car is riding high - not final drive height.
No-one knows yet what the UK will be.

Hope it is low though... (not that I want you to walk! )

I agree. Whilst I don't wish you that problem, it is important that the car looks correct on the road and for me lower than those pictures I have seen from Motorexpo would suit, otherwise I think Mazda have wasted such a aerodynamic sporty shape.

I agree with what has been said the lower the car is on the road the better it looks.

Having scaled it of a brochure photograph (scientific I know) with the wheels as a comparison it appears that the clearance is about 180mm

I have always suspected that I had two options, walk or get my friend to fix his drive.

Personally, from what I have seen in pictures I dont think the ground clearance will be any worse than many other cars.

The car at Motorexpo was so high it was practically an off-roader!

I read somewhwere that the ground clearance is 5".

5 inches, that seems awfully small (as Mrs c170673 has been known to say).

On a serious note will this cause any problems with speed humps and the like?
