Welcome to the digital age brother! rael 06-06-2003, 08:34 AM I know, unfortunately I have stacks of old tapes which I have not replaced with CD's and my only possibility to listen to these would be the car. rael RobDickinson 06-06-2003, 08:39 AM One option woul dbe transfer them onto CD? If you have a 'puter wity a cd writer it isnt that hard. rael 06-06-2003, 08:43 AM Just don't have time. Also, not one of the IT mob so possibly have not ven got the software - need to ask the kids! rael wakeech 06-06-2003, 08:54 AM ...my father had actually (very recently) considered starting a business, with a service as such (LP's or tapes or VHS/BetaMax -> digital media)... it's been done in the 'States, so i've heard, and is supposedly pretty successful. maybe you need to head to the bank and get a small business loan ;) RobDickinson 06-06-2003, 08:57 AM And consent from all the artists so you can copy their music... Just d/l all the MP3's and burn them? If you got a CD writer + something like a soundblaster and a tape deck with a line out you have all you need , software either already installed or easily findable. Titanium Grey 06-06-2003, 09:49 AM In America and Japan, there are multiple options. The audio head unit supports two components in two different bays. The top bay (top of the laquered circle) takes either, a single cd player, the (UK Default) 6 cd player, and a CD/MP3 player. The second bay (bottom of the laquered circle) will house either a standard tape unit or a Mini Disc Player. Each option comes with a replacement laquer panel. If you have the MP3 or Mini Disc unit the system is capable of displaying the ID3 tag (Song Name) of the currently selected track on the dashboard readout. Don't know if all these will be available here though. Any idea if it does CD-text? Titanium Grey 06-06-2003, 09:56 AM Sorry Rob, not sure! Yukki took some photos of his dash showing the titles on the 'Asian Forum' i think.
