Took these photos a while back. Seeing the car at the auto show is what sold me on the RX-8.

That's what auto shows are for (selling cars). I've never found a car salesman that knew how to sell a car ;) :D

The blue looks great. Can't wait to see these gems on the roads of America . . . and the world.

Having seen all the colours in real-life now, the blue is absolutely my favourite. It's so sexy. I went with Titanium because I wanted the red/black interior and figured all black interior would be too dark. I'm sticking with that as most of the time I'm inside the car and like the look of red/black but I must say I am torn!

Very nice! But the blue looks much lighter in these pics. In the car mags it looks much better darker.

The darker area under the Left Headlight is a better indication of what the blue look like. It is much darker then I thought it was going to be.

Yo RX-Hachi..

Welcome to forum.. I see you're a Honolulu member too! I could tell by the pics because the surroundings look like mine! At the Convention Center! Hehehe

So what dude, have you pre-ordered or anything? Have you spoke to dealers? Lemme know what you got cuz trust me, I've talked to them all and have some hairy stories..

See ya.

RX-Nut, what's up. Yup, same show, same car. Did not pre-order, I never buy without taking a test drive first. I'll try to do a deal once they hit the showrooms. But if the Hawaii dealers are jerks, I'll just wait until the frenzy dies down or maybe ship one over from the mainland.

Yup, the Hawaii dealers are greedy and clueless...

Have you ever shipped a car from the mainland? How does it work? I might end up having to do the same.. :(

Done it once. You can use a car broker or work with the mainland dealers directly. Often you can save big bucks going this route. But the downside is added hassle, added wait time, and the worse is the added worry that your car might be damaged in transit.
