Saw the production numbers on www.mazda.com so now they selling at least in Japan....

it basically lists figures for the # produced against the # sold. The RX-8 sold 1,791 units out of 2,301 made. Roughly 78%! Good job, Mazda!

Thanks, I wonder when the May numbers are out? The post "others", I wonder what that can be? RX7 perhaps last year?

The production run is sold out through August here so the ones listed as "unsold" must be the dealer demonstrators.

I was curious as to how many 8's are here in the states and after reviewing the production and sales data from the Mazda Website I see that between April and November 53,395 units were produced of which 13,846 were sold in Japan and 36,459 were exported. Now of the 36,459 how many made it to the US? Does anyone have access to the US distribution and sales info?
