Spin9k 01-30-2005, 05:50 AM would a fuel pressure gauge be usefull in showing or helping to prevent fuel starvation?I've never heard of a guage that can prevent anything, but a pressure guage would indicate.. well.. yes, pressure.. and possibly that would show the onset of fuel starvation as well. The only fuel starvation ever mentioned on the board (but I've never experienced it) seems to be if you let the tank get below 1/4 full while on track, and then in severe cornering, in one direction or the other I think, you may experience a cutout. Mr. Ed's rx-8 01-30-2005, 01:30 PM don't you mean a fuel pressure regulator? rotarenvy 01-30-2005, 02:47 PM I did mean fuel pressure gauge. just a visual indication that fuel wasn't getting to the injectors and hence me backing off to prevent fuel starvation. has anyone produced a better fuel equalising pump? |
