Driving my RX8 home after a day of cruising around.. When I got home I put the car into Reverse and Nothing Happened!!!!
I can't Reserve its as if I am in Neutral..
What can this be!! Has this happened to anyone else.. Can the dealer Blame me for this!!! The car is an 04 Automatic with only 4000km

maybe some sort of pressure leak? take it in and see what they say...

That depends, exactly what did you do before the transmission failed. If there was no abuse then it should be covered under warranty. But if there is some sign of abuse then the dealer will have a hard time getting Mazda to cover it under the warranty.
So, what happened just prior to the failure????

he changed gear- a clear sign of abuse. the dealer is going to hang him out to dry;)
