I called the folks at http://www.carbconn.com - $75 including A/F, per car, IF we can get 5 cars to show up.

I've dyno'd before with them; seem like quality people. The number is runs per car varies. Their policy is "we'll run the car a couple-three times; but when the numbers start repeating, we'll put the next car on. There's no sense in running a car over and over again to show the same results."

I think any CZ/EManage folks would have plenty of time to tune in a little more, or little less fuel, etc., between runs.

Man,, too bad, I will probably be in Vancouver, BC that weekend… plus my car is pretty much stock…
I been to CarbConn few years ago to have my friend’s GTI dynoed.. That car only had 170 hp at the front wheel but the Torque was some where around 230lbs. ft!!!!!! Too bad it couldn’t keep that torque up in the mid-high rpm range to get more horse power….

My car is stock - that's the point of the dyno session

 

Im not sure if I want to spend the money, but I am curious what my car is stock.

Im 50/50 on wanting to pay for this, but I may show up to watch since its only like 20 minutes from my house.

If you cant get a fifth I may pony up the dough.

 

Mine is slightly modified, Racing Beat CAT-back exhaust, AFE high flow filter element, Lineage ground wires. But I might have my MS flywheel installed by then also...

..not for there normal price - I've put out the word to my Miata pals - I think I can get 5 cars, just not 5 rx8s. Also, I'm following up on a place which charges $25 for a couple pulls...still in the seattle area.

Does it have to be an RX-8? My wife doesn't care what her RX-8 dynos at, but I'm curious about my S2000.

It's as accurate as any test...dynojet dynometer... I've used it before w/ my miata.
