The title of the post says it all. Is that ring removable? Does anyone know?

Good question. My 3 year old was messing around in the car the other day while I was cleaning and he was trying to pull it up. To no avail... If a 3 YO can't tear it apart, I don't think it was meant to be removed:)

Not sure if it can come of but here is a pic from the center console on it's back, there are 4 screws....
Hope this helps.

Indeed I am. The shift boot ring, the air vent bezels, the door handles, and the little pieces of silver trim that run the length of the center console.

I think the door handles would be tough to keep from chipping since they're real metal & get used a lot. I've toyed with the idea of painting the silver tunnel trim body color. I think that would look hot!
