Ever notice there are no "sun" pictures on the Zaino site?

things that make you go hmm......

I had to investigate the Zaino site because so many of you seem to be fixated upon it...noticed that all the pictures were taken under cloud cover....tell ya what, I know better than anyone how hard it is to capture a really good shot of paint condition but I'm always just a little suspicious, damn near every car looks great with no light man....

onething about the lack of sun in photos is that on overcast days you will have better contrast. so your shot will typically look better

Well from the reflection of the clouds on the car and the lack of strong shadows I would say that while it might have been quite bright when this photo was taken the car wasn't in direct sun at all.
But it still looks damn nice

Zaino was sued by several users who attempted to take photos of their freshly-Zaino'd cars in bright sunlight, hoping to appear on the Zaino website. The reflected sunlight was so intense that, after being concentrated in the lenses of the cameras, it burned the retinas of the eyeballs in the viewfinders and blinded the photographers, making them permanently visually disabled in that eye.

Since then, Zaino has declared bright sunshine shots forbidden. Read the fine print in your Zaino literature, and be careful!

It was quite bright that day. You can see the rest of the pictures at http://tyrannical.org/rx8/index2.html

I did notice some of the sky shots made it look cloudy or close to raining, but it was a typical burn-your-retina-out day in Tampa.

Here is a video clip of my car in the B R I G H T sunlight. I walk around the car, so you can get a good look at how zaino shines. you'll note that you'll see the clouds in the car's reflection just as you saw in the previous photos I posted.

When you visit Zaino's site, see if you can order a Sense of Humor (preferably in a case lot quantity). Some people apparently don't know a joke when it slaps them upside the head....
