If the weather cooperates, will pick it up next Tuesday. Got it for invoice less the $3,000 rebates. They're throwing in a few small items along with a oil/filter change.

It's also got the automatic chrome ash tray emptier and silicon graphine anti-matter injection manifolds (OK, just kidding about the anti-matter manifolds). :)

Mine's a December 03 build, too. Excellent choice. It's got to be tough to have to wait on the car. You can always surf the forum for your fix.
And don't try to BS us on the options. We all know that anti-matter injection isn't coming until the MazdaSpeed version comes out.
BTW, the silly smile on your face will keep coming back every time you even think of the car, so get used to it! :D
