In the main 'Discussion' forum there has been release of a internal sale book by Mazda which suggest that the RX8 direct competitors are TTC, 330Ci, S2000, G35 and 350Z!! Seems a tough market they want to play in.

I can understand TTC+G35 but the others dont seem much of a match.

G35 Cant buy in uk. I'd guess £25kish
350Z £26000 or so

Out of those lot the only 4 seater is the 330ci at £10k more than the RX-8. And IMO its aimed at a completly diferent market.

Either madza has the competition wrong, cant (or doesnt want to) compete with its real competition (RS focus, Evo and STI, Civic type r etc), or realy wants us to mostly ignore the rear seats.

Honestly if they wanted to pull sales from the s2000,TTC and 350Z they should have made a new RX-7.
