View Full Version : rx8 lacking more than just power?
fatmarco 12-09-2004, 07:07 PM As we are all eagerly awaiting the HUGE power boost from the house of Hymee,
i was thinking the other day as a watched a hotted up rx3 going brrrp brrrp brrrp brrrp brrrrrrrrrr......(lapping the block of course), that the increase in horsepower isn't the only thing that is missing. It is the hair on the chest, full on wog power street cred. :D
Will any sc or tc car have that kind of road presence?
Maybe we need a switch for that!
bigblockbeater 12-09-2004, 07:28 PM ya but give it time. everybody and their uncle are working on mods for it. eventually somebodies going to come out with something worth the money and i will be first in line. i would like a supercharger to help with the lower rpms
Choppy 12-09-2004, 07:53 PM Add the fluffy dice fat marco and you will be o.k.. Some of the wogs cant afford it yet bro.. Soon as the car falls into the 40es then all the ethnic cousins will have one doing fully sicks to it.. Thats when i move on to bigger things :D
Regards
Phillip

RXE16T 12-10-2004, 04:01 AM I've been trying my best to enhance the street cred of my 8 around my hood with my zorst and intake, so far it sounds sick, but not fully hectic yet! :D
Hymee 12-10-2004, 11:20 AM I dunno. Why not just go straight to "Full Race" :)
labrat 12-10-2004, 11:10 PM Hmm, this dialect thing has been going on since the 1920's when black jazz musos started their slang to shut out the white wannabees. Every time the white guys would cotton on, the black guys would think up something new. So here we are 80 years later and nothing's changed. At the risk of getting flamed to a crisp, dare I say that it is essentially fill words used by people who really don't have much to say? I think there is nothing cooler than someone who can use straight English with a great vocabulary.
timbo 12-10-2004, 11:24 PM Hear, hear ... and each over-tarted 8 I see, even if it is only a picture of a show car, brings me one day closer to moving on to another vehicle choice.
I'm sorry but I don't sense much in common with a "braap braap" RX-3

Ummm hymee, it's "fully race bro".......pronounced "f'lee rice bro"

Unfortunately it doesn't matter what car you buy, there will always be someone out there that will "over customise" the same car, making you want to disassociate yourself with them as much as possible.
Ever seen one modern car you would own that hasn't been modified by the full sick crowd........... very unlikely.
