Has anyone got any pictures/info on any custom painted rims avaiable for the rx8. I have a red rx8 and wanted to get some 19's but have then painted red to match the car. This is sort of idea i was looking at:

What do you think about painted rims?

I like how it is done in the pic you have posted. Do a search on "gold rims black rx-8". A fellow member did an excellent job painting the OEM's gold on his black RX.

What about getting your factory rims powder coated yellow? Just got mine done in black but there are over 30 other color options when it comes to powder coating. You could also get this done to any aftermarket rim you like.

at least his wheel matches the car well ;)

anyway, back to the topic, when getting wheels painted, make sure you have them done properly, make sure the colour is matched, prep the wheel properly, apply etch primer, then the colour/clear.
post the pic when its done ;)

i have painted the wheels for one of my cars, the front ones have marble effect to match the front end of the car.

ezzy, can you post some more pics of your car? that first picture just makes your car appear dirty. and the wheels look the same -- like they are just dirty.... maybe its just the pictures you chose ????????
