'Formula Woman'!!! morganrogers 05-14-2003, 02:13 AM He is looking forward to the 350Z more..... I am more looking forward to what 'the Stig' makes of it ! Clarkson writes for a tabloid newspaper known, I believe, as 'The Scum'. A colleague handed me a cutting where he reviews the US 350Z and describes it thus: 'As relaxing to drive from place to place as hopping', 'American lard' and 'somewhere in there is a good car but it needs a European to let it out'. So either he was lying, will be lying or doesn't like it. hairyfrog 05-19-2003, 02:59 PM I think Clarkson has lost a lot of credibility over the last few years. He seems obsessed with finding dafter things to say about cars - top gear is very entertaining but is no longer a "proper" motoring show IMHO. So, I couldn't give a stuff what he thinks ! ed hall 05-19-2003, 03:01 PM yeah I know the feeling. oilman 05-19-2003, 04:19 PM His ideas on "cool" and "uncool" baffle me. How can the Ferrari Enzo be "uncool". I bet it's because he can't afford one and even if he could, he wouldn't get one!!:D Enough said. 'Top-Gear' has way too much waffle and far too little cars. A reasonable half hour show stretched too far. On a good day 'Fifth Gear' annihilates it! |
