I got ahold of Aaron over at the RX-7 forum, and he agreed to re-host the ISO and zip files of the RX-8 promo CD for a few days, for those of you who didn't get an original. :D

You can get it here (http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45417&highlight=RX8).
Be sure and thank him.

I've already posted the ISO in the lounge, however it's not a permanent arrangement... this seems more sensible.

One thing I did notice is that it's a shockwave (nasty) flash file... so there is a possability that someone with director could extract the components like the jpeg files and sounds... Anyone have the software to do that?

I'd do it but I don't have windows... let alone director!

Fill out the form and have it mailed to a friend in the States, that’s what I did. I just hope that he doesn’t keep it!

I'm going to unstick this thread and let Aaron know he can yank the hosting in a couple of days. He needs the space for other stuff for sure. Get it while the gettin's good.

Well, it appears only 3 people have downloaded it from me so far... but I can't leave it for ever either... I wonder how many downloads it's had from the other site?

Well the CD came in the interoffice mail today and just like everyone said, there is absolutely nothing new that we did not already know. It does make a good keepsake item.

That CD reminded me of Giraldo in Al Capone's vault. If anyone didn't get one, don't feel bad. Just go to their web site - you'll actally see more.

They could have made the CD good, but instead it was a just written in Flash, with no real content.
