Can factory Nav play DVD movies?

Anybody know if factory NAV can be modified to play DVD movies from the LCD on the dash? If possible, then how?

There are multiple costly ways to do this with the factory NAV. Use the search option.

You can't. The factory unit may have a DVD drive, but it cannot decode the movies.

You will need hardware to jack into the nav display, then hardware to play movies - such as a portable DVD player, or an xbox. Generally speaking, it'll cost you around $700 to do.
