How long is the warranty in Japan? i.e. is it 3 years/60,000km etc?

It's the first time I've bought a new car so didn't think to ask the dealer about it.

Thanks,
John

I checked to my dealer.
General warranty is 3 years/60,000km
Engine and Transmissions warranty is 5 years/100,000km
(General warranty...ʕۏ Ippan-hoshow)

I did not know it too.
OK?

The general warranty in the states is,

Bumper-to-Bumper is 4 years / 80,000 Km.

which is longer but there is no seperate engine-transmission warranty.

Thanks guys. No need to worry about reliability too much then like some of the threads in the discussion forum are talking about, other than the inconvenience factor.
