View Full Version : Get a Tire/Wheels section! RacingDynamcs 04-22-2003, 02:24 AM above! Sputnik 04-22-2003, 10:21 AM At the moment, there aren't enough threads on the subject to warrant it's own section. ---jps Cam 04-22-2003, 01:41 PM Sputnik, I understand your position of not wanting to add a section if there are not enough threads to discuss it, but maybe if there was a section dedicated to tires/wheels it spark more threads. Any possibilty of a trial time period maybe? My $.02 Elara 04-22-2003, 02:14 PM Don't they fit under the aftermarket peformance category? Maybe if we started getting more posts in there about tires and wheels, and a need was shown, the head honchos would create a separate section. RacingDynamcs 04-22-2003, 02:16 PM i agree with cam!:o maybe when the car actually comes out and more people get it and join the forum there will be more of a need for this section...till then...w/e wakeech 04-22-2003, 02:52 PM really uncessesary... there are only so many wheels and tyres in the first place: it's really just a sub category which deserves (and could really only garner) a few threads in the AfterMarket Performance section... already i've started a Favourite Tyre thread, which is still alive... or there's at least a doopie... anyhoo, it's not unique enough or complex enough as an issue to really warrant its own section. Efini 8 05-06-2003, 01:45 AM im a new user to this forum and its a pain in the ass to find the correct aftermarket area. I really love the format of www.newcelica.org they did an excellent job...! tribal azn2 05-06-2003, 03:16 AM i think this is the best format http://forum.e46fanatics.com/ and yes a separte wheel/tire forum is absolutly neccessary when the car is released wakeech 05-06-2003, 11:17 AM Originally posted by Efini 8 im a new user to this forum and its a pain in the ass to find the correct aftermarket area. I how so?? it's right there on the main page, just scroll down. "Mazdaspeed/Aftermarket Performance" Originally posted by tribal azn2 and yes a separte wheel/tire forum is absolutly neccessary when the car is released i'm going to have to disagree with you: all of the wheel and tyre concerns can be taken care of in like 2 threads... there really isn't enough to say about one tyre or wheel in particular to really warrant its own thread, maybe just a few posts about one or the other... Toadman 05-09-2003, 11:35 AM I could see a need for it in the future but not right now. When people start taking delivery and wanting to upgrade wheels/tires and suspension then we will add one. Then we can reply to posts like : Yo, I've got my 8 slammed 2" with Eibachs/Tokicos. Can I fit and roll with bling 20's if I get the off-set right? :D Quick_lude 05-13-2003, 02:15 PM Originally posted by Toadman I could see a need for it in the future but not right now.
