That would be my worst nightmare. I know how you feel. I had a guy reverse into my car and nudge the black grill where the number plate goes. You would think he would have moved his car to avoid being blamed. Unfortunately I didn't notice the damage till after he'd left. I have since ordered a bottle of brake fluid for him so if I ever catch him his car will be wearing it.
Hope the repairs go well

That is terrible... there is nothing worse than that feeling after an accident.

On the other side....

....take some photos and post them.

Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck .

If you possibly can try and get the rear aluminium door repaired with the dent free removal method as aluminium is harder to panelbeat than steele .

cheers
michael

Your not alone mate, last night on the way home from work some day dreaming idiot who couldnt figure out what lane he was going to be in hit the back of my car.

His car has a nice large dent in the front gaurd and rubber on his wheels, my rx8 on the other hand doesnt look to bad at all, as a matter of fact there is no damage, just rubber on my paint and some skuff marks. A bit of a buff and you wont be able to notice anything had happened. I think im damn lucky.

The 8 seems to be stronger than a lancer.

Hope your repairs are good.

playa78, sorry to hear that.
Something similar happened to me in my Type R just before I changed over to the 8, so I can relate to how you're feeling.
With work, I use a panel shop called Rigoli Smash Repairs over at Bexley which I highly recommend.
The owner, John, is a car enthusiast, so he puts plenty of love into the repairs.
Good luck with it.

dropped my 8 this morning to AAMI..
the total cost of repair stand at $4600 omg..
they said it will take upto 3 week, most likely finished on 30th Sep.
I am due to go into surgery 29th, meaning I can't drive :( for 6week... T_T
I better get them to hurry up with repair I guess.
keep things posted if any interesting thing comes up.

I saw your damage last night and I don't think its all that bad.
3 weeks for repairing it seems like a joke.
A good panel shop should be able to repair the damage in a week max.
Can you get a second opinion?

left s/c interposition arthroplasty + arthrodesis since you asked..
but I would rather not say too much about it..
rather unrelated to cars.
