On 6 April 04 I registered online at www.mscw.com to become a member of MAZDA SPORTS CAR CLUB OF WASHINGTON. On 7 April 04 I attended a meeting at Fudduckers in Tyson's Corner Va. where I gave them the 25$ registration fee. The check was finally deposited more than 3 months later on 27 July 04. I still have not recieved a welcome letter or email from MAZDA SPORTS CAR CLUB OF WASHINGTON. I have emailed several times but no reply. I cannot call because a number is not listed on the website. Does anyone here on this forum know who I can contact to get my membership Information? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

 

Sorry to hear this. I got my membership card proto in the mail after joining. Try e-mailing 'membership AT mscw DOT com' if you did not already , then if no timely response, PM TreknMazda - he'll be able to help you or put you in contact with someone who can.

It took several weeks for me to get my membership card (I mailed my check in April and got my card sometime in June), and my check didn't clear for three months. I chalked it up to the summer lull. I got my first MSCW newsletter about three weeks ago.

 

did you get your membership card when you gave the lady $25 membership fee?

 

oh yeah, and have you signed yourself up onto the mscw listserv yet?

 

I have not received a single bit of notice that I am even enrolled. I know MSCW has the money because it cleared my bank albeit over 3 months from the day I wrote the check. No email, no membership card, not even a phone call to say my info was received. I did infact enroll online on 6 April 2004. I am sure that the powers that be over at the MSCW have seen this post but I am still awaiting a reply. I am curious to know as I am sure a few others out there on how business is conducted and a reason as to why I don't have any membership information from MSCW.

 

What makes you think MSCW monitors this forum? Did you try e-mailing to the address I suggested or PM'ing TreknMazda? Have you come to any of the meetings since April and brought this up? I'm confident it will get taken care of.

Update: Anytime anyone has an issue with the club they need to email [mscw AT mscw DOT com]. That hits all the officers and coordinators at once. If you don't get a response within a few days, let me know.
