Well, I picked up my new car on Friday morning. We were out to dinner with my buddy and his wife. Just after the waitress brought us our drinks, the hostess came over and said my car got hit.

Apparently, a little girl got out of a Chevy SUV....a bit too quickly. So now my driver side door has a ding in it. Not a horrible bruise, but it's brand new.

Gotta find a repair shop here in the Va Beach area....any suggestions.

Atleast it wasn't you... the first is always the worst... I was backed into only a couple of weeks after I got my car... empty parking lot, parked in the back corner, away from the door... someone parked next to the door, and somehow back 30+ feet across the lot to hit me!

Atleast they came in to tell me. But man... my first new car ever! And a new bumper already!

I feel for you.

Glad they atleast were honest enough to let you know.

I always try to park.....way........over.......................... ..........here where noone will bang up the car. It doesn't hurt to walk a little....your gonna be walking up and down the aisles of the store or wherever anyway. Anyone that gives you grief about where you park doesn't pay for dent removal.

At least its just a door ding. I recently had someone key mine from the passenger side door all the way to the tail light, which they scratched it up to. It happened in my neighborhood when I was parked. Im fairly new to the area so I have no idea who did it.

The first ding always hurts the most.... the first day I drove mine to school (Highschool...) someone keyed it... stupid kids, I'm glad I graduated... and 2 months later a cop ran a redlight and hit it... stupid..... eh..

well, for about a 1-2 inch dent/crease the insurance company says I'm getting almost $400 to get it fixed. now to find a reputable shop here in VA Beach/Norfolk to do the work....

Hey all.....dings!! Let me tell you about dings....so I own my 8 1 hour. Come home from the dealer, park it outside while I run in and thrown some jeans on for going out...did I mention I live right beside hole 10 on a golf course?? Well, I come outside and see a golf ball beside my 8. Ouch....hood shot!!! About the size of a quarter. Oh, yeah....1 door ding also!!!
